Treatment
- Iron Deficiency avoid caffeine, eggs, wheat bran, calcium supplements, antacids. Eat calves liver, and take Vitamin C (assists in iron uptake).
- Vitamin B12 Deficiency Eat calves liver, kidneys, eggs, fish, cheese or take a supplement.
- Folic Acid Deficiency Eat calves liver, asparagus, grains, dark leafy vegetables, brewers yeast.
- Ferrum Phos to help with assimilation.
- China to assist with blood loss.
- Nat Mur for anemia accompanied by depression or headache.
- Ferrum Met pallor.
- Piric Acid - for anemia coupled with stress.
