Treatment –
- Iron Deficiency – avoid caffeine, eggs, wheat bran, calcium supplements, antacids. Eat calves liver, and take Vitamin C (assists in iron uptake).
- Vitamin B12 Deficiency – Eat calves liver, kidneys, eggs, fish, cheese or take a supplement.
- Folic Acid Deficiency – Eat calves liver, asparagus, grains, dark leafy vegetables, brewer’s yeast.
- Ferrum Phos – to help with assimilation.
- China – to assist with blood loss.
- Nat Mur – for anemia accompanied by depression or headache.
- Ferrum Met – pallor.
- Piric Acid - for anemia coupled with stress.
