Fatigue




Fatigue is the result of unwellness due to insufficient sleep or rest, over consumption of processed foods, alcohol or caffeine, or the onset of illness.

Symptoms

muscle and joint aches and pains, prolonged tiredness, headaches, depression, sore throat, painful lymph nodes, sleep problems.

Treatment

- Practice relaxation therapies and remove stresses – massage is great for fatigue.

- Allow for adequate sleep and rest periods.

- Follow a balanced diet, ensuring that ingestion, digestion, absorption and excretion are not contributing to fatigue.

- Exercise moderately

- Increase consumption of raw fruit and vegetables

- Supplement – Vitamin C, Iron, Vitamin E, Magnesium

- Drink 2 liters of water per day.

- Herbs – ginseng, licorice

- Aromatherapy – peppermint oil ( stimulates the brain), lavender and cedar wood for relaxation.
