We are born with a great longing for meaning in our lives; a need to learn and grow, a need to stretch ourselves and strive for more. This is a deep spiritual desire, the soul's cry which is often misinterpreted in the course of our lives as physical or material neediness. Yet when we try to fill this longing with the material, we are ultimately unsatisfied; the heart's cravings still unsatiated.
This is where our connection to a spiritual purpose is necessary. It is the call to realize our innate purpose and the move toward wholeness which is at the core of spiritual growth.
